The public-health chapter proposes a Public Health Observatory combining intelligence from the County Medical Officer of Health, Public Health Inspectorate and TRHA.
Its priorities include disease surveillance, vaccination and screening, food and water safety, sanitation, vector control and stronger readiness for outbreaks and climate-related health risks.
Joint work with other divisions—including Community Development and Social Protection—is a cross-agency partnership, not a return of Social Protection to the health portfolio.
